1976 - Received my license to practice Architecture
1980 - Ran the New York Marathon
1981 - Completed the Western States 100 Mile Endurance Run in under 24 hours + 8 other finishes in later years
1986 - Completed the Tevis 100 Mile Horse Race in 20 hours
1996 - Ran the 100th. running of the Boston Marathon
2007 - Retired from the State Government
2011 - Received an AA degree from Sacramento City College in Photography
One of 15 people that completed the both the Tevis 100 mile Horse Race and Western 100 Mile Endurance Run in under 24 hours; these races are related since they are staged on the same trail from Lake Tahoe to Auburn, Ca.
I am the only person in my running club who has done both a USA Track & Field Sanctioned 100 meter dash and a USA Track & Field Sanctioned 100 mile run.
I developed many of the restroom standards that are now in use in State Parks and beyond.
