Our small Arizona factory creates from our own designs, manufactures and sells pewter holloware, jewelry and castings - thru our 16 seasonal retail locations in the United States..I am looking forward to retirement as soon as the next generation can work as hard as I do.
There is a 5 year plan in place.
3 (35, 30, 26)
4 (7,5,1, and a 2 year old recent angel)
Traveling America, Europe and Africa in our VW bus for two years after college. Returning to America and starting our business. We have been self employed for 43 years, thru the ups and down of the economy and family drama. Married for 49 years. The lowlight to my life is recently losing my young grandaughter to a tragic accidental drowning.fr om which my heart will never recover..
Keeping my sanity, (and sense of humor sprinkled with cynicism) thru prosperity, and now family illness and tragedy.
I think I would have made a great attorney - I made the choice in college to go a different path but, looking back, I certainly would have enjoyed having the knowledge to push against the establishment more aggressively and prevailing, (plus I would have retired by now).
On the other hand, I should have paid more attention in Spanish class to speak fluently - since a Mexican beach keeps calling my name.
Where did the time go - I am just getting started. (Really, 50 years sine High School!).
